We forgot that our grandparents had 3 to 5 children and our parents had 2 children and now we have only one child
We did not bother to adopt nuclear family living system and felt more happy in the name of privacy and independent living
We did not bother ourselves while putting our only child in day care center or extended day care centers
We did not bother ourselves while putting our child in residential school or hostels
We did not bother ourselves in sending the child anywhere in the world for earning money
We did not bother ourselves if the child work late night or when they don’t turn out to home due to official pressure
We did not bother ourselves while the life style got changed and enjoy ourselves in joining with children for malls, pizzas and more frequently in spending few thousand’s for dinner at hotels
We felt very happy when the earning child discounted 15 or 20 years of life earnings in new flat
We did not bother when the earning child discounted 3 years of savings in four wheeler(s) and traveled miles on tours and entertainments
We felt very happy in online chat and video conferencing when they work abroad
We felt very comfortable in taking their monthly money transfers to our account
We were very happy to know that our medical bill if hospitalized will be met by the employer under their group insurance scheme
We felt proud when the grandchild was admitted in foreign schools
We felt proud when the grandchild not knowing our mother language
We did not even thought anything forward when things were comfortable for our personal life and so the problems are faced today.

There have been significant changes in attitudes, behaviour and life styles over the generations .The increased importance of technical education has lead to dwindling of life values and interpersonal communication is adversely affected.Seeking advice/involvement of elders doesn’t generally happen…What has been discussed above is a consequence of this…
2. Importance of life values and interpersonal relations should be taught from childhood along with other curriculum….
